A logbook, not a trophy case
Summits are rare and short. Everything that makes them possible — the training blocks, the altitude adaptations, the gear checks, the camps — is frequent and slow. A proper logbook records the slow parts, because that is where the story actually lives.
What belongs in the record
Training sessions and their load, expedition dates and routes, mountains climbed, altitude exposure, equipment condition and readiness reviews. Logged honestly, this becomes the single source of truth a climber keeps coming back to between seasons.
Readiness is a habit, not a feeling
By the time an expedition starts, the decisions have already been made in months of training logs. The mountaineering module exists so the preparation is visible, accountable and continuous — summit or not.
